She stands on tiptoes to look
At the white-yogurt city sprinkled
With windows and solar panels
Spilling into the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her toes are starting to ache
But that ache \u2013 her ache \u2013 is written somewhere in a book \u2013
The very same book in which
The long streets and the long shores and the long waves<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In rippling lines spill out of the page<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and into her blank bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
