Spindles rusted, unused and protesting,
overwhelmed by emotion
that has sent these dormant contraptions
into the harried state her mind is now in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

goose bumps down her arms,
a short walk away from the source

Muscles move like marionette strings
torn between moving forward
toward what she wants in her heart,

Blood pumps faster
rushing to her cheeks
mind flashing to luminous blue,
a captivating smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her breath stutters.

Curtain\u2019s almost up and her mind fills
with panic and giddy terror stuck in the spokes
rendering those wheels useless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and it is too late to run.
