i have four white walls
with scattered pictures
and i am alone. again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
every time i let a breath out
after holding it in so long
i am told that it was wasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
someone new leaves
and i am left gasping
at the fact o don\u2019t know why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
i don\u2019t know relief
but I like to think i\u2019ll adjust
to the altitude. again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and therapy won\u2019t be
a weekly rescue breath
from an albuterol inhaler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and maybe next time i find
someone i breath easily with,
i\u2019ll be their fresh air too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and we can sigh with ease
knowing we don\u2019t have to
hold our breath alone. again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
