I\u2019m the Bride of Frankenstein\u2019s mechanic.
She drives a Toyota Echo.
It\u2019s been a good little car.
I can\u2019t recall doing any major repairs to it.
I asked her how it was for room,
What with her husband, the monster, being a big guy.
She said it was fine, no worries,
But then added, with a sparkle in her eye,
That it might be different when there\u2019s a little Frankie.
I asked her about the gearbox.
She said it was hard finding reverse sometimes.
\u2018It\u2019s a fault with that model\u2019, I replied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We could talk about a lot of things:
Life, death, marriage, body parts\u2026
But I stick to cars.
It\u2019s what I know best.
She\u2019s been talking about getting an electric car.
Says it\u2019s the way to go \u2013
Electricity.
I guess it\u2019s what she knows best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
