My aging brain slows,
a train approaching its stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Quick math, rapid logic?
Not going to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But in the slogging
a new kind of speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I saw an ad this morning: Without a second\u2019s thought \u201cStayin\u2019 Alive.\u201d \u201cStayin\u2019 Alive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n While Lynne Schilling has been writing poetry on and off for forty years, she began writing it seriously three years ago at age 75. Her day job was as an academic in an entirely different field. However, her love of words dates back to when she was a toddler.
