Career paths are limited and stunted; movement and experiences have been similarly constricted by accessible time, money, and energy. In poetry, however, I have found a space of unlimited autonomous choice. My words can be placed and spread to communicate the deepest wells of myself or jumbled to the point of complete incomprehensibility.
