The Game’s Afoot

At Underwood, sometimes we get a notion to do an individual issue on one topic or style of writing. Baker Street started out as a desire to publish mysteries and suspense stories and poems. Dashiell Hammett and Arthur Conan Doyle came to mind and the name Baker Street soon followed from the address of Sherlock Holmes.

We’ve been putting this together for the past year with all its hurdles and interruptions. But, here it is on January 6, Sherlock Holmes birthday. Our intention is to publish an annual issue each January. The frequency may increase if we get enough interest and submissions.

We all hope you enjoy the contents. The Plot Thickens!
