When it all gets to be too much,
along the way.
Sometimes you may lose touch,
feeling the need to get away.
When you’ve had it up to here,
and your path is no longer clear
Pick a lovely location that you like,
… and take a hike.
Perhaps along some lovely mountain trail.
Out among the trees and wildflowers,
If I had my way without fail,
You could find me out there for hours and hours.
There you can find the much-needed serenity.
I look around and it’s nothing but nature’s beauty that I see
Somewhere such as this lets me decompress as I like.
It’s always so rejuvenating,
… When I just take a hike.
